ABS Crew performed at our PUMA event and they totally rocked! Their energy was completely electric and they had the whole crowd into it – everyone was awestruck! They were enthusiastic and thoroughly entertaining. Their routine was contagious - people were clapping, dancing and were totally into it! Their dance moves are unbelievable - I don’t know how they do it!

"If you want to break with the best check out the ABScrew. While on holidays with my family I saw them perform at the Halifax harbourfest this summer. It was a sold out crowd. They were electrifying...set everyone in motion! A few of us signed up for classes in Toronto. They are teaching us the break moves and how to build muscle for dance. The training involves a combination of gymnastics and dance. I've noticed a real improvement in my core strength and flexibility. These folks are serious about their groove. They came and performed at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. ~200 students and staff turned out. Their performance was an awe inspiring, anti-gravity, crowd rocking event! The room was pulsing!...people whistling, cheering, clapping, and dancing. Thanks ABScrew for the great entertainment!! A lot of students and staff were impressed and inspired. They want ABSrew to teach b-dance classes at the college.

Rosh and Wellesley are an inseparable team:

Rosh: Combines stamina with insane flexibility. The guy can drive any move, defying laws of gravity and range of motion . He's creative, spontaneous and mostly airborne in performance. Truly awe- inspiring!

Wellesley: Is sheer power and charisma. He brings attitude and impressive footwork . Mr.. personality pumps with vocals and strong acrobatic moves. The two like to battle it out for crowd appeal. They put on a show that's a pleasure to watch ."

I wanted to express my sincere thanks to you for the incredible week long camp you put on in my community. My studio has never done a camp like this, and we are very focused on bringing your group in many more times in the future because it was such a rewarding experience. I wanted to comment specifically on why I thought the camp went so well. Many factors contributed to the success of the program including your general skills as b-boys, your positive attitudes, your sense of humor, and your focus on the development of the children and teens.

Mariano, your musicality is incredible and your top-rock, locking, and floor work clearly reflect your love of music. It is easy to watch you dance, and because of your smooth style, you inadvertently inspired our young b-boys/girls to develop musically as well. Your focus on the students’ performance quality, helped encourage many “shy” dancers to let it all out. By the end of the week I felt there was a new and very improved group of young dancers in the studio. I have to mention your popping because it is amazing how your body can perform such optical illusions. It is ingenious the way you use your sense of humor combined with your popping skills to captivate an audience…. and educate young b-boy/girl students. You are a brilliant and diverse break-dance artist, I can’t wait to see what’s next in the Mariano b-boy portfolio.

Roshan, your physical abilities are incredible, one of our students said that watching you was like watching fire works because the whole room just oohs and Ahs at everything you do. I am incredibly impressed by the way you use your knowledge of traditional gymnastics training in order to teach b-boy moves. I like that you can breakdown moves to the absolute basics, and then develop specific training methods relative only to B-boying. This was like having insurance, you were very aware of having the kids work safely, I appreciate that – the parents appreciate that. There are not too many people around with those skills, I feel incredibly fortunate to have had you take part in the dance education of my students. Your focus on conditioning, stretching and strength training helped change the attitude of many of my students. Because you are such an excellent role model, some students have already begun a regiment of strength and flexibility exercises. It won’t be long before they see concrete results from their efforts.

Troy, your unique dance style blows me away. The fact that you developed a new and interesting way of b-boying is testament to your genius as a performer. Your use of comic book characters makes everything you do entertaining, and the kids in the camp think of you as a real life hero. Your teaching techniques are clearly developed, specifically the emphasis you put on creativity. You run a class like a veteran teacher, you see the importance of individuality and you really focus on bringing that out of the students. Your energy is very inspiring, your abilities are impressive, and your comical demeanor is irresistible. The kids are still quoting you.

ABS, your b-boy skills were so spectacular, that often the participants were left gaping in awe at your tremendous performances. The diverse background of your instructors helped provide a rich environment for learning. Your positive attitudes and excellent comedic timing helped maintain a fun and happy atmosphere. All of the members of your crew were conscious of setting a good example for the children and teens, and you were all excellent role models for the breakdance camp participants.

Thank you so much for making our studio a cool place to be this summer, you guys totally rock!!!! I am working on ideas for the next camp and counting the days until you return.
