These classes will give athletes the opportunity to develop basic trampoline skills in a fun and controlled environment while improving spatial awareness and body control. This is a progressive skill based program to build confidence, increase athletic ability and challenge participants to learn proper technique.
Instruction will ensure correct body positioning while in the air, ability to control your height and perfect your landing. Specific manoeuvers taught will include seat drops, tuck jumps, stomach drops, back drops, jumps in pike or straddle position and progressing up to more complex skills with rotations including combinations of forward or backward flips and twists.
Trampoline coaches will work with jumpers to ensure that every class participant progresses at their own pace. Precise technique and body control must be demonstrated before moving on to the next degree of difficulty.
Classes are based on level and maturity, all ages welcome.
Strength and conditioning classes are highly recommended in addition to this class.
