Build the strength, stamina, and flexibility necessary for aerial and acrobatic expertise in our Beginner Aerial class. This is a fitness class combining conditioning and circus arts. It’s open to all ages and perfect for those wanting to try a new form of exercise, as well as for seasoned athletes and performers looking for a great workout.
Our aerial classes will help you gain new skills, broaden your creative expression and are complimentary to other circus skills such as acrobatics and hand balancing. You will gain an understanding of how to suspend, hang, spin and pose safely while in the air. Participants will work on executing climbs, learn locks and poses, and build strength, flexibility and endurance as they progress towards more difficult transitions and sequences. Apparatus include, silks, hoop, rope and hammock.
We also offer specialized Silks and Hoop Classes for more experienced artists wanting to improve their performance and develop their professional abilities.
*It is recommended that you wear full length leggings and a full length top to this class.
Classes are based on level and maturity, all ages welcome.
The Cirque Strength and Conditioning Class is highly recommended in addition to this class.
