Silks are a traditional circus apparatus in which performers do wraps, climbs, poses and drops while hanging from a long piece of fabric. This is a challenging discipline that requires great strength and flexibility in order to be executed gracefully. With the basics learned in the Beginner Aerial class, participants will work towards more advanced combinations.
Aerial hoop is a traditional circus apparatus suspended from the ceiling. In this class you will climb, spin, balance and swing on the hoop while holding various poses and completing seamless transitions.
The Cirque Strength and Conditioning Class is highly recommended, you need to be strong and confident in your skills to work at the top height of the silks and rope.
*It is recommended that you wear full length leggings and a full length top to this class.
Classes are based on level and maturity, all ages welcome.
